Researcher development from The Doctoral Academy
Doing your own research takes lots of different skills. The Doctoral Academy is here to help you grow and succeed. Our Researcher Development Programme (RDP) supports you through every stage of your doctorate. It helps you get started, stay focused, gain confidence and learn how to share your work with others.
There are lots of ways to get involved, learn new skills, and meet other postgraduate researchers. You can share your work and build networks at events held throughout the year, including our PGR Festival. If you want to give a talk at an academic conference, you can apply to the PGR Conference Fund for help with costs. You can also try teaching through our partnership with The Brilliant Club.
