Undergraduate degree

A UK honours degree or international equivalent in Maritime, Transport, Logistics, Business, Management or related studies.

Alternative qualifications considered

Applicants with an unclassified degree and significant relevant industrial experience may be considered. For example, a Level 5 qualification in a relevant subject area along with evidence of experiential learning in a relevant industry and/or formal qualification, such as an STCW Officer of the Watch Class 1 Certificate of Competency. Other qualifications considered to be of similar academic level to the above may be considered.

    Students with non-standard entry qualifications supported by relevant industry experience or certification are also encouraged to apply.

International requirements

Other international requirements

All applicants must provide evidence of competence of English. Applicants are required to have achieved an IELTS score of a minimum of 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent English language qualifications. Applicants who have studied and successfully achieved a UK degree within the previous 24 months are exempt from the requirements to produce evidence of competence in English.
