Modules are designated core or optional in accordance with professional body requirements, as applicable, and LJMU’s Academic Framework Regulations. Whilst you are required to study core modules, optional modules provide you with an element of choice. Their availability may vary and will be subject to meeting minimum student numbers.
Where changes to modules are necessary these will be communicated as appropriate.

Qualification requirements
Undergraduate degree
Students with a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with minimum 2:2 classification or international equivalent (e.g., US CGPA 2.5).
Alternative qualifications considered
A professional qualification with considerable relevant work experience.
International requirements
IELTS
If an applicant has successfully completed an undergraduate degree or a level 5 qualification in English, this will be accepted as entry from an English Language perspective. If this is not the case, the requirement is IELTS with an overall score of at least 6.5 (and no individual component lower than 5.5), or the Oryx English Test. Any English language proficiency qualifications considered to be equivalent will be considered, with submission of supporting evidence, by LJMU.
