Seminars and workshops will focus on media, communication, including the establishment of a 'digital footprint' and a critical and professional review of students' presence on social media. Developing new content for new and traditional media will be included. Professional guest speakers will contribute, giving talks and offering project advice.

BTECs
HND in a cognate subject area, this qualification can be recognised as 240 credits RP(E)L to facilitate recruitment at Level 6.

Where a candidate does not fulfil the standard entry qualification the Programme Leader will interview the person to determine their suitability for the programme.
International requirements
IELTS
A good level of proficiency in the English language is required as the entire programme is delivered in English.
English ability is determined by the German-British Chamber of Commerce and Industry examination and the level of English required will be a minimum B1 (under the Common European Framework for Languages) or an IELTS score of at least 6.0. It is of benefit that candidates have some work experience; however it is not essential.

The criteria for admission takes into account the acceptance by the university of the German-British Chamber of Industry and Commerce qualifications.

Or equivalent German qualifications and combinations of prior study specified on the list of confirmed qualifications provided by the German-British Chamber of industry and Commerce (a state body, the AHK or Aussenhandelskammer) authenticating that the studied curriculum is equivalent and appropriate for admission to the programme at Level 6.
