Discussions provides an opportunity to use a blended approach to teaching. Discussions in Canvas allow for interactive communication between two or more people in an online evnironment; users can participate in a conversation with an entire class or group. You can use the discussions tool to bring elements of face to face teaching online, or as a continuation to in-class activities.
