I am an Associate Academic Registrar and Head of Student Governance. The student governance team manage processes around academic appeals, complaints, student conduct, students with criminal convictions, fitness to practise procedures and fitness to study assessments.
My academic background is in interdisciplinary cultural studies, particularly the study of popular music and popular culture. From 2001 to 2013, I led the university's BA Popular Music Studies programme.
I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
