Dr Yusuke Nishimura is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Muscle Proteomics within the Cellular & Molecular Physiology of Lifelong Health (CaMP-LH) research group at Liverpool John Moores University. His research focuses on the molecular and cellular mechanisms regulating skeletal muscle protein turnover and mass in both health and disease, with key contributions in skeletal muscle aging and facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) through proteomics-based approaches.
