Dr Zoe Hughes

Zoe is a Lecturer in Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University specialising in cognitive and experimental psychology. Her research centres around exploring cognitive abilities such as attentional control and creative cognition, and how we can use mindfulness as a tool to facilitate these cognitive processes. Zoe's expertise extends to developing tools to enhance cyber security, with a particular focus on phishing email suseptibility. Zoe primarily teaches in the realms of cognitive psychology and statistical research methods, and currently leads the Concepts in Mental Health and Wellbeing level 4 module. Zoe is currently on the editorial board of Journal of Cognition and has recently been featured on the Psychonomic Society's podcast 'All things Cognition' where she disucssies her recent work on mindfulness and creativity (link to podcast).
