Dr Emma Kinley is a HCPC Registered Health Pscyhologist and Seniour Lecturer. She has experience working on large programme grants, healthcare intervention development, delivery and evaluations, Patient and Public Involvement and Community Engagement in respiratory research as well as NHS/Health & Social Care settings. She has also completed a PhD in healthcare professional delivery of supported self-management for asthma in primary care settings, and a Stage 2 Doctoral qualification in Health Psychology.
Dr Kinley's research interests are in the areas of health psychology, behaviour change and the creation, development and analysis of complex health care interventions and engagement with people with long term conditions (specifically respiratory conditions such as asthma) and health care professionals. She has expertise in mixed-methods methodology, including systematic/realist reviews, observational and qualitative research.
