John Morgan

I am a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing at Liverpool John Moores University. I began my clinical career in the field of Acute Medical Care, and then specialised in Advanced Vascular Access as a Clinical Nurse Specialist where I was responsible for developing nurse led services within large acute NHS trusts in the North West. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, I was involved in cross speciality working in the clinical fields of Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, Gastroenterology, Nutrition and Dietetics as well as Infection Prevention and Control. I have also worked across a variey of community and acute health care fields. I continues to undertake clinical work in a variety nursing settings.

My acacdemic career began in 2011 and i have sinced worked in a variety of Universities in the region, predominantly within both undergraduate nurse education and undergraduate medical education, as well as post graduate provisison within both areas. I have experience in teaching, learning and assessment at a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate levels and have experiece in curriculum development, quality assurrance and developement of teaching, learning and assessment strategies and modalities.
