I trained at Liverpool John Moores University, graduating with a BSc in Children's nursing, I then worked in Neonatal Intensive Care for most of my clinical career.
I returned to Liverpool John Moores University in 2023 as a Lecturer in Practice Learning. In my role I undertake various roles such as quality assurance of placements, new placement set up and student support on placement. I believe that the quality of the student experience in practice will make a huge contribution to learning and also allows them to prepare for professional registration.
I also teach on practice modules and simulated practice placements. I am currently undertaking my Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice with the aim of completing my Masters following this.
