Spencer holds the prestigious position of Senior Lecturer in Architectural Technology | Building Surveying | Architectural Engineering. In this role, he leads Technological Design within Architecture, with a strong emphasis on Architectural concept development, engineering, science and technology innovation, and practical applications all built upon nearly three decades of experience in Architecture and Construction.
In his role as Industry Liaison for External Engagement & Innovation for the School of the Built Environment, Spencer forges strategic partnerships between academia and industry leaders in the construction Industry. Working within the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, he cultivates relationships that transform academic research into practical industry solutions. Connecting businesses with researchers and academics to leverage the latest technological advancements and research findings.
