I commenced my career at LJMU in 2023, in the School of Law & Justice Studies as a lecturer on the Professional Qualification in Probation Studies. My employment background is in the Probation Service for over 20 years, as a Probation Service Officer, Probation Officer and Senior Probation Officer. My academic background includes an Undergraduate degree in Sociology (2000) and my Undergraduate degree in Community Justice (2013). Since commencing my post at LJMU I have completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice and am currently working towards a Masters in the same. I remain passionate about Probation Services and exploring the most effective ways to work with people who are subject to Probation Intervention. I enjoy helping to support the next generation of Probation Officers to do this, via the PQIP programme at LJMU.
